Highlights

Highlights

WeBus has signed strategic agreements with Yango and 3 additional large taxi companies in Israel and is now raising funds for further development and fast penetration into international markets. The company already generates income and aspires to become profitable starting Q3 without further investment.

Among company’s executives are the former CTO of Gett and the founder of Bringg.

WeBus platform enables a user to order a ride with additional users, so they can all reach their destination quicker, at a lower price. WeBus generates the optimal scenario point between slow and extremely inefficient public transportation and taxi rides, which are fast but expensive. With WeBus, the taxi drivers earn more, while the users pay less and as a result, the company earns 6 times over the competition.

The results of the WeBus platform activities in Israel today speaks for themselves, with great success.

The Idea

A platform for shared rides that are cost effective, fast and convenient is missing globally. The competition is usually between Apps such as Gett and Uber, but most people cannot afford them on a regular basis, due to their prices.

Of course, there are UberPool and LyftLine that aim to provide shared rides, but they are only adjusted for their original users. Their original users are used to ride alone fast and conveniently, hence not willing to show enough flexibility to share rides.

Public transportation is extremely slow and usually overloaded to the point of discomfort. It also presents many constrains, such as location of stations which is unsuitable for users. In the majority of the developing countries, most of the population cannot afford a private vehicle and, in many destinations, parking is missing (i.e., main cities of those countries.)

Comparative Table of Competitors - Advantages and Disadvantages:

**Table is part of the full WeBus Business Plan.

The target audience is 8.8 percent of the global population on earth, focusing mainly on developing countries that present greater potential.

We will focus on developing countries in which there is high demand for public transportation, mainly bus users.

In developing countries, there are regular mid-level public transportation and below customers. Our target audience has no financial ability to own a car or use the services of a chauffeur/taxi, when public transportation is inconvenient and time consuming. WeBus can reduce taxi/chauffeur costs and offer a fast and convenient ride at an affordable price.

Usually there is a commission per ride in the market. Since each ride can be with 3 or more customers, the users can pay half price each, the drivers receive a higher tariff per ride (about 120 percent compared to regular rides) and WeBus enjoys a much higher commission. Even if the company decreases its fees, it will remain far more profitable than the competition.

The WeBus relays on the public transportation users’ market, people that wish to arrive at their destination faster and are willing to pay a bit extra for that.

Over 30 percent of people worlwide use public transportation.

WeBus intends to first enter developing countries where the percentage of public transportation users is high and where public transportation is basically inefficient with regard to arrival times.

WeBus aims to quickly penetrate additional markets, since previous transportation companies that created momentum multiplied their value by tens of thousands of percent within 4-5 years. WeBus goal is to quickly enter strategic destinations in large cities that currently offer inconvenient public transportation

At such cities, 50-70 percent of the population uses public transportation, which is commonly problematic and taxi/chauffeur costs are relatively low.
